For All You Patient YAMmers

I finally uploaded pictures from the Hike. I even gave them all witty names.

You can see them in the nifty picture viewer widget on the sidebar. Or you check them out(and all YAM pictures I upload) here.

Now for The Big Question™ is: what do you all want to do for our next activity? I need ideas; Tara's willing to help, but we need something to shoot for. I'm just a country bumpkin... what do city people do for fun in the wintertime? Sleigh rides?

yay pictures! thanks!!
um, i like outsideish stuff, historicish stuff (as long as its not lectures :)- like monuments and sacred places, and c'mas lights, and things that don't involve coffee, pizza, and chocolate for the next 3 weeks. :(
but no concrete ideas yet.

sorry, that wasn't anonymous... that was me... forgot to plug in my info.
those are the general things i've been playing with... and it wasn't in comeplete sentences sorry!

Hey, you don't need complete sentences; you're a college student. Save them for your papers.

The best picture was tagged The Little Indian That Could...It's Amazing. The bravery. Plus I was definately working hard at hardly working, but hey someone gots to do it.

Hey i need some "cultural experience's" for my lit and arts class.... aka trips to musuems/concerts/plays or something of that genre...anybody wanna come with me? Its gotta be quick, like before the next two weeks are up!

Pennsbury Mannor!!!

I would LOOOVE to go there! I was going to volunteer there, but because I have to slave at Target, it's not possible. But regardless! It's awesome! It's like...history Disney Land! Okay, not quite, but I think it's really cool up there. Ahem.

There is also the Mercer Museum in Doylestown, like Penn Manor it's a class trip destination for kids around here.

There is New Hope, not QUITE historical, but it's a sweet little touristy town with - The Playhouse! I did some work here (even was onstage, ONCE) as a general grunt the prices are moderate, but it's super fun. Not really elegant, but it's got charm and fantastic shows.

In Philadelphia proper there is the:
Art Museum - Free on Sundays, and awesome. I can show off the peice I did for my Art History paper XD

Franklin Institute (expensive though, I usually go once a year when it's free - college day on the parkway XD)
The Rodin - free on Sundays
The University of Penn Musuem of Anthropology and Archeology - AWESOME place, I spent half my childhood in there, plus for the big King Tut exhibit they have an Amarna exhibit, King Tut's childhood home. Really, really nice displays.

Umm...*head scratch* Oh, the Natural History Musuem (I got to sleep over there once as a Girl Scout XD) It's really fun there, lots of Dinoaurs...and...naturally things.

There is the Moore College of Art and design galleries, mostly modern art.

Oh! Durr, Olde City. Liberty Bell, Constitution Center, Independence Hall. Dudes dressed as Ben Franklin....horse buggy rides. Lot's O History there.

erm.Oh Temple is always doing Shows and thingies, and it's a REAL easy ride from the train station (R7 - Levittown, Bristol, Croydon all on Rt. 13, or the R3, which can be picked at Woodbourne or Langhorne for you PBU'ers) I can find out more of ya'll.

Aaand and I am all out of ideas. Phew. I feel like I have been typing a mile a minute. XD
